CHANGES

It is with great sadness that I received and share the news of the death of James Moore. James had been my close friend for 49 years. We literally grew up together from high school days until April 4, 2019. We worked in ministry together with James serving as the administrator of the medical missions ministry for years. And in the last 5 years, he had helped with many administrative tasks of Mission20 in the U.S. James was a unique individual with keen administrative ability but also was primarily focused on ministry. He was a blessing to our ministry. And he was a blessing to me. He will be greatly missed.

Let me migrate from sad news to good news. Marlon Gutierez has arrived in Bogota. Marlon has been working with Mission20 in Venezuela for 2 years. But I have known Marlon since he served as a translator for our first medical project in Caracas in 1995. He is married and the father of 3 teenage children. Marlon is a Colombian citizen so there were no immigration problems to deal with. He will help with the various ministries we have in Venezuela and Colombia. He will also begin the process of incorporating the ministry as a non-profit in Colombia. His status as a Colombian citizen will help in that work.

Elsa, Gaby, and I appreciate your prayers and support. Together we are able to not only continue but also grow the ministries God has entrusted to us. Feeding programs, medical and vision teams, church planting, Bible distribution, and leadership training are keeping us busy right now. And we are seeing God's favor and blessing. Thank you for being a part of it.

Blessings from Bogota!
